A Message from Scott Schell, CEO

May 2020  –  Scott Schell: In these extremely challenging times, I would like to share my heartfelt support and solidarity with you and your families. The health and safety of our team members and their family, as well as our carrier and customer partners, is our number one priority. We have a long-standing legacy of responsible business and we are committed to doing all we can to keep everyone safe.

This month, we celebrate TA’s birthday. We have obtained many successes, but we have also traversed many challenges during our time in this industry. Someday, we will look back at this moment in history as just that – a challenging time in which we all banded together, adjusted quickly, and Made Ship Happen.  I am confident that we will come out on the other side of this pandemic a strong, more agile and flexible organization.

Our business is considered essential during times of crisis as we are a part of the North American supply chain. We have contributed by bringing food to business and families, shipping masks and other protective PPE gear, hauling products to aid in safe public hygiene, and helped keep the economy going with shipping items such as building supplies and paper products.

I am extremely proud of and grateful to our teams who come onsite every day to ensure business continues to run smoothly and to our teams who have adjusted quickly to their new, temporary lifestyles of balancing life at home with their families while continuing to make our business thrive. You are all essential and you are all valued.

Thank you for your continued hard work. KEEP MAKING SHIP HAPPEN!
